That is so hot today! Some friends posted some notes in facebook about this heatwave. They told us in this afternoon, that was around 40 degree. Moreover,even every state has bushfires! A few days ago, we even can smell smoke. We believed that was from the bushfires in bribe Island. We have to prepare for this heatwave.
Last night, I went to Garden City for shopping. I found there was so busy,the most of parking spot is occupied. When I entered the mall, there was full of people and a big Christmas Tree! Moreover, the most of shops were full of people.For example, in BigW, I saw a lot of people were busy to buy their presents. But there was an interesting thing, I went to some retail shops of electrical goods. Those stores were relative quiet. I do not know whether the current economic climate is not very good, the people are cautious to buy the expensive goods, such as electrical goods.

E-Tax lodgement deadline is 31st October, that is next Wednesday. That is about a week time. Please do your tax return as soon as possible, unless you plan to use a tax agent. Normally, their deadline is than the usual 31 October deadline. Anyway, if you already have all documents in place, why you do not complete that as soon as you can!
I got some spare time during my lunch break today. I went to Myer and found there is Mid Season Sale running. A lot of good stuff!For example, $100Off for some apple computers, $700 something for ultra-book. But the offer interested me is 50%off for Polo Shirt. Well, I am still in my plan for saving money. I won’t buy anythings at all.
Today is Chinese Moon Festival, so we had some celebrations. I went to dinner at a church brother’s home with other Brothers and Sisters from our fellowship. There is a big dinner, and some chit chat time after dinner with non-stop laughing. I was worrying the next door will complain us…… Anyway, that is very fun.
Lastly, we followed our Chinese Custom to celebrate Moon Festival. They had some moon cakes. Well, I don’t like moon cake so much, but today is Moon Festival. I should have some…..
As the conclusion, that is my way to celebrate Moon Festival.
I traveled to Hong Kong about a month. I am a lazy person, so I have to choose a direct flight. There are two airlines provides direct flights between Hong Kong and Brisbane, they are Qantas and Cathay Pacific. We are not as lucky as Sydney and Melbourne, they got more choices.
Well, between those two choices, I always choose Cathay Pacific. Although the fare is a bit expensive, they provides the service I like more. Firstly, they got a wide range choices of movies, and those movies are very very new. They are just not about movies. They got a lot of tv shows too! In particular, they got a lot of Hong Kong TV programs. I am a Hong Kong People. That is suit my taste. I won’t get bored!
Secondly, that is about food. Their meal is quite tasty.
They got some very good chinese dishes !
In addition, they got a tasty ice-cream,,Häagen-Dazs. I love it!!!!
Lastly, Cathay Staff are very friendly. I felt I got a good service.
Those are the reasons, I choose Cathay most of the times.
I am traveling in Hong Kong now. We got a better public transport system. That is better to take the underground train (MTR)rather than driving. That is great. I was tried to drive when I was in Brisbane. Now, I can sleep while travelling MTR. But I need to do some “trade-off”. I need to walk more, I cannot be enjoy “door to door”! In addition, while they do shopping, we have not a car to drop our bags. So, I need to carry a backpack when I go shopping. That is a bit annoying, I want to drive a car……
